Toronto (December 13, 2017) - Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center for Holocaust Studies (FSWC) is thrilled to advise two prominent families will be representing the organization as its 2018 Spirit of Hope Co-Chairs: Joel and Dr. Melissa Feldberg and Tom and Anna Koffler will be heading up the largest annual gala dinner in Toronto on Wednesday, May 30th, 2018.
"Both families have a history of philanthropy and successful business engagement in Canada. They share a long history of leadership at FSWC at the board of directors level and through social action and education advocacy. The organization is inspired by their engagement in this major fundraiser that will assist in raising much needed funds to fight antisemitism and promote tolerance, justice and human rights," said Avi Benlolo, FSWC President and CEO.
The organization recently announced that Gerald W. Schwartz, Chairman and CEO of ONEX Corporation and FSWC Chairman will be a Title Sponsor of the event.
FSWC will be announcing its exciting panel of speakers in the next few days. The Spirit of Hope Benefit has become Toronto's most iconic event, drawing on international personalities to comment on essential and provocative topics of the day. The event brings together top business leaders, philanthropists, politicians, civil servants and people from all walks of life to celebrate humanity and stand together in unity.
We invite the public to attend and support Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center.
