These videos that have gained tens of thousands of views on the social media platform trivialize the horrors of the Holocaust and victims' experiences.

Vandals Scrawl Holocaust-Denying Graffiti on Memorial at French Massacre Village

Vandals scrawled graffiti denying the Holocaust on a wall in the village of Oradour-sur-Glane where troops from the SS killed 642 villagers by herding them into barns and a church and setting the town on fire in 1944. France's justice minister vowed that those responsible will be brought to justice.

In a letter of condolences and solidarity to Oradour-sur-Glane Mayor, Philippe Lacroix, Wiesenthal Centre Director for International Relations, Dr. Shimon Samuels, shared with today’s citizens “the pain of the revisionist denial and desecration of of the memorial village and museum."

Israeli-Canadian Eliezer Sherbatov on his Jewish Heritage and Playing Hockey in Poland

Eliezer Sherbatov, an Israeli-born Canadian who grew up in Montreal, will soon suit up to play for Unia, a team in the city of Oswiecim in southern Poland. For Sherbatov, it is a pilgrimage, as Oswiecim was the site of the Auschwitz death camps during the Second World War. “I’m very proud of my Jewish heritage,” Sherbatov says by telephone. “I came here to play for the dead, and for their remembrance. I want Jews to see that a Jewish kid came back [in] a city 80 years after so many died.

Board of Islamic Relief Worldwide Resigns Over Antisemitism Allegations

Islamic Relief Worldwide, Britain's biggest Muslim charity, announced that its entire board has stepped down and will not stand for re-election after it emerged that it had replaced a trustee who had stepped down over antisemitic posts with a man who glorified terror attacks against Israel and described the Jewish state as the "Zionist enemy." A new board is being elected by a new International General Assembly.

This Holocaust Survivor Turned Architect Designed a Memorial Honoring Albanians Who Saved Jews

Stephen Jacobs, a Holocaust survivor and prominent New York architect, had been commissioned to create a memorial for Buchenwald and most recently a memorial for Albania's capital, unveiled last month at the entrance to the Grand Park of Tirana to highlight the stories of Albanians who saved Jews during the Second World War. In designing memorials, Jacobs’ priority is ensuring that visitors leave with a greater understanding of the Holocaust.
