Stephen Harper: Israel's War Is Just, Hamas Must Surrender or Be Eliminated

"Antisemitism and anti-Zionism are always the proverbial canaries in the coalmine," writes former Prime Minister of Canada Stephen Harper in a compelling piece in the National Post that provides insights into the Israel-Hamas war. "Those who embrace such tribal and sectarian hatreds will invariably, in time, aim their guns well beyond the Jewish people. Indeed, if we open our eyes, we will see that they are already doing so."

Trailblazing Canadian Cyclist Removed from Ontario International Women’s Day Event Over Past IDF Service

In January, five months after Leah Goldstein accepted an invitation to speak at an International Women’s Day event, she was disinvited due to what organizers said was "a small but growing and extremely vocal group" that took issue with her service three decades ago in the Israeli army.

"The cancellation of Leah Goldstein as a keynote speaker indicates a disturbing trend of organizations capitulating to intimidation and harassment by those demanding the silencing of Jewish voices," FSWC said in an online post. "The decision to rescind Leah Goldstein's invitation to share her inspiring story, simply because of her mandatory service in the Israeli military decades ago, is discriminatory and wrong. It must not stand."

Goldstein issued a statement in response to the decision.

2nd Youth Arrested, Additional Charges Laid in Terror Plot Against Ottawa Jewish Community

After arresting and charging an Ottawa youth for knowingly instructing a person to carry out terrorist activity against "Jewish persons" and being in possession of explosive substances, the RCMP has since laid two additional charges and arrested a second young person who is being considered a co-conspirator. The additional charges include unlawfully conspiring and agreeing to commit the offence of murder and knowingly facilitating terrorist activity by making available and exchanging instructional material and propaganda.

Video Shows UNRWA Social Worker Abducting Body of Israeli on Oct. 7

A man seen in an Oct. 7 video abducting the body of an Israeli man into the back of an SUV during Hamas's massacre in southern Israel has been identified by Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant as Faisal Ali Mussalem al-Naami, a social worker with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) in the Gaza Strip.
