Toronto-Area Synagogue, Businesses Targeted with Antisemitic Graffiti: Police
York Regional Police is investigating after multiple businesses, signs, a Jewish community centre and a place of worship were targeted with "Free Palestine" graffiti in predominantly Jewish areas of Vaughan earlier this week. "These incidents are not random. This is a clear attempt to intimidate the Jewish community," FSWC said in an online post.
Police Investigating Vandalism at North York Synagogue
Toronto police are investigating after incidents of vandalism outside Kehillat Shaarei Torah Synagogue and Temple Sinai Congregation early Wednesday morning, and they believe the same person riding a motorcycle at the time is responsible for both acts. "The Jewish community remains on high alert, as it continues to face intimidation, threats and countless incidents of hate," FSWC's Jaime Kirzner-Roberts said in a statement.
Monument to Nazi Collaborators Discovered in Ontario Children’s Camp
The names of four Nazi collaborators have been removed from a monument at a children’s summer camp in Elora this month after FSWC's investigation into their identities revealed deep ties to leadership positions within the Nazi Waffen-SS.
Dalhousie Halifax Campuses Reopen Wednesday After Closure Due to Encampment
Dalhousie University reopened its Halifax campuses today after it shut them down earlier this week over safety concerns with an anti-Israel encampment. On Monday, demonstrators entered the Kenneth C. Rowe Management Building where they "harassed and intimated individuals," the administration said. Halifax police were called to help with clearing the building of protesters.

A Village’s Anguish Over 12 Children Lost to a Rocket Strike

Chants of 'Heil Hitler' Shouted by Antisemitic Protestors at Israel Olympic Soccer Game
During Israel's national anthem, a group of protesters began shouting "Heil Hitler" while seemingly performing Nazi salutes in the Parc de Princes. "Paris 2024 strongly condemns these acts. A complaint has been lodged by Paris 2024, which is at the disposal of the authorities to assist with the investigation," a Paris 2024 spokesperson said in a statement.
