Today, on the 18th anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks, we remember and honour the nearly 3,000 victims who lost their lives that day and countless first responders and citizens who risked their lives and demonstrated great heroism.

FSWC President and CEO Completes Vancouver Briefings with Holocaust Survivor Max Eisen

At the invitation of BC chiefs of police, Avi Benlolo spent the last 24 hours with police leadership in Vancouver. Joined by Holocaust survivor Max Eisen, and at the invitation of Vancouver Police Chief Adam Palmer and Deputy Chief Steve Rai, Mr. Benlolo presented to more than 30 senior law enforcement officials from across the province. Mr. Benlolo provided them with a comprehensive overview of antisemitism in Canada and around the world.

University of Toronto Student Group Hosts Alleged Former Member of the PFLP

A University of Toronto anti-Israel student group hosted an alleged former member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), Issam Al-Yamani, on Tuesday at the CUPE Local 3902 head office, bringing the event off university campus. “We are very pleased that the Issam Al-Yamani event will no longer be taking place on UofT campus. Individuals connected with terrorism and violence against civilians should not benefit from an audience at our universities," said FSWC president and CEO Avi Benlolo.

Gaza Rockets Fired at Southern Israel for Second Day in a Row

For the second day in a row, rockets from Gaza were fired toward Israeli communities on Wednesday afternoon, sending hundreds of residents running to bomb shelters in the communities of Netiv Ha'asara and Yad Mordechai. One of the rockets caused light damage to a home, while another two appeared to have landed in open fields.
