Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center (FSWC) commends Côte Saint-Luc city council for recently adopting the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) definition of antisemitism.

The council passed a resolution endorsing the definition on Monday, making Côte Saint-Luc the third municipality in Quebec to do so following Westmount and Hampstead.

“We are pleased to see this growing list of local governments across Canada that are recognizing the importance of the IHRA definition in combatting antisemitism. During a time of uncertainty, we commend Côte Saint-Luc city council for taking this positive action,” said FSWC President and CEO Avi Benlolo.
