Another student organization at McGill University has publicly condemned members of its leadership for planning a trip to Israel.

The Arts Undergraduate Society (AUS) – the student union for McGill’s arts faculty – sent out a statement to all student members expressing its “profound disappointment” that two of its council members were planning to visit Israel on a trip organized by Hillel McGill. According to the AUS, the two students’ plans to travel to Israel has negatively affected Palestinian and other students with “lived experiences of oppression.”

FSWC has reached out to Provost Fabrice Labeau demanding that the McGill administration step in and put an end to the ongoing public harassment of student leaders planning trips to Israel.
