TORONTO (June 9, 2017) – FSWC is extremely satisfied following last night’s vote by Niagara Regional Council in support of an anti-BDS motion brought forth by Councillor Sandy Annunziata. The motion – which also condemns Niagara Centre NDP Riding Association for asking the Ontario NDP to support the BDS movement – passed with a 24-2 vote.

“It is important to stand up against hate, intolerance and antisemitism of all forms, and we applaud Councillor Annunziata for taking a proactive approach in condemning this activity in Niagara,” says Avi Benlolo, President and CEO of FSWC.

FSWC was in attendance to speak to mayors and city councillors in support of the anti-BDS motion.
