Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center (FSWC) is aware of swastikas, appearing as the Hindu version of the symbol, spray painted in the St. John’s east end.

According to reports, there were at least three swastikas spray painted on Stavanger Drive last weekend.

“The motive behind the swastikas is questionable. I am doubtful the individual behind the graffiti was looking to spread a message of peace,” said FSWC president and CEO Avi Benlolo. "An investigation should take place by police to determine who the perpetrator was and their motive."
